Mississippi Department of Wildlife & Fisheries   The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP), formerly known as the Mississippi Game & Fish Commission, is an agency of the government of the U.S. state of Mississippi responsible for programs protecting Mississippi fish and wildlife resources and their habitats, as well as administering all state parks. The agency issues hunting and fishing licenses, advises on habitat protection, and sponsors public education programs. It is also responsible for enforcement of Mississippi's fish and game laws. It is separate from the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources, which is the governing body for the state's natural salt-water resources and law enforcement thereof (ie: Gulf of Mexico, ocean-going vessels, etc.).

Mississippi Development Authority   The Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) is the State of Mississippi’s lead economic and community development agency. More than 250 employees are engaged in providing services to businesses, communities and workers in the state.
The agency is organized into three groups, Economic Development, Asset Development and Administration and Financial Services
Madison County Planning & Zoning   The Planning and Zoning Department administers all building permits and inspections of construction. The Planning and Zoning Department administers the County's Zoning ordinances that govern land usage and the Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance that delineate flood zone and flood way.

Hinds County Economic Development District   The Hinds County Economic Development District (District) utilizes two main economic development methodologies to create new jobs and build wealth in the local economy; new business recruitment and expansion and/or retention of local firms.
The District targets companies that are compatible with existing business clusters for recruitment and establishes and nurtures relationships with existing companies to facilitate expansions and retentions.

MSWCC is a non-profit organization serving Mississippi in educating the public on the importance of conservation practices affecting our future.
Coastal Conservation Association Mississippi   We are a non-profit grass-roots organization dedicated to the conservation of Mississippi’s Marine Resources. Founded in 1986, CCA Mississippi (then GCCA) has been instrumental in the banning all non degradable gill nets, establishing creel and size limits on speckle trout, redfish and flounder and ensuring good stewardship of Mississippi’s coastal resources.
