I began my real estate career in 2005, primarily dealing with commercial properties and land sales.  In July of 2010 I opened "J.D. Johnson Realty & Investment, llc", with the goal of offering specialized real estate services to Commercial, Land and Residential Clients, in and around the Gluckstadt/Madison County area.

 I am a member of the Realtors Land Institute (RLI), Mississippi Commercial Association of Realtors (MCAR), the Mississippi Association of Realtors, and the Jackson Multiple Listing Service, along with several other professional and civic organizations. I also serve on the technology committee and board of directors for the Mississippi Commercial Association of Realtors (MCAR).

 I've bought, sold, leased, built, demolished and remodeled, multiple and various types of real estate and investment properties, both for myself and for clients. My experience has given me a  broad knowledge of the industry and has connected me with some really great people.  In addition to offering personal and professional brokerage services, I am connected with a broad network of professionals who specialize in the services needed to get your property ready to sell and to the closing table. I graduated from the University of Memphis in 2007 with a BA in English. Shortly after graduating, my husband, John, and I relocated to Cleveland, Mississippi with our three children. In 2010, John had the opportunity to relocate his Optometry practice to the Jackson metro area and after an extensive search of the surrounding cities, we picked Madison to settle and raise our children. We bought a house in the Lake Caroline community and we couldn't be happier. No other place has felt more like home.

After Graduating from Madison Ridgeland High School, I was a "walk on" with the last freshman football team that was separate from the varsity team at Mississippi State University in 1969-1972.

Prior to beginning my Real Estate Career, I worked for thirty plus years  in the restaurant & hospitality industry. I was involved as a management team member opening 35 new Dave & Buster's restaurants all across the USA and internationally.
